Love beats Derision, Unity beats Division.

Hello lovelies, happy Wednesday to you all. In light of the past week's tragedies, I wish to offer some love. After all, love is the light that pierces the darkness, not hatred.

There are many whose prayers have rung out for Paris and Beirut after terrorism rent them apart. Prayers are important but so is action. The way that we can all change the world is by making xenophobia socially unacceptable in our own backyard. A small group of pathetic people killed hundreds, and a small group of kind people can heal thousands. The way we can do this? Calling out anyone spouting racist or xenophobic remarks. Make discrimination a distasteful standpoint instead of one that garners cheap laughs and solemn nods. The fact of the matter is, the world will always contain that 0.001% of arsewipes who enjoy harming others. We don't have to add to it.

Today, this week, this month and year, I ask that you treat others with kindness. We are far more alike than we are different and all differences should be celebrated and not condemned. A world of multiple colours, cultures and creeds is richer than one that is devoid of variety. We each add to this beautiful world of ours. Let's start acting like it.
