Day 3: The Dansa - ProjectDFC DFC Form Chart 2015 by kiwi-damnation

The Dansa or balata is an Occitan form with at least three stanzas (a quintain and two quatrains) and a refrain throughout. It can be longer with the first verse framed by refrains and subsequent stanzas in quatrains with an ending refrain. Occitan meter is hexasyllabic (6 syllables) so that’s what we will use. You can use iambic trimeter or another other trimeter you like.  
The rhyme scheme is A, b, b, a, A| c, c, a, A| d, d, a, A |
