Cheated Fate

Snatched from his clutches,
Left in the cold,
She cries for some solace,
For something to hold,

Yet her fingers are empty,
Except for that knife,
That shall reap her revenge,
And steal off with a life,

She awaits their approach,
On the jetty she stands,
With but hate in her heart,
For none understand,

He was hers, and was stolen,
She was cheated of fate,
Now she longs for her justice,
On the eve of their day.

This I dedicate to *annay49. She is a very close friend of mine, and she deserves more happiness. Yes it is a dreary piece, but I figure she'll hopefully love it anyway. Love you sister.
