Literature Text

How can you believe when I don’t believe?
The hope and the happiness fell like the dust,
Of ancient documents,
And I cannot bear the sorrow.

We are meant to dance, to sing,
And yet there is no place for us,
No world in which I can ever sing or play again,
For my words don’t mean a thing and my heart no longer beats,
To that melodic magickal tune.

It has all gone.
There is nothing but darkness amongst us,
And there is no light that I can shine,
That can halt its presence around me.

Within myself I am a shadow,
A small hollow shell.

The fire inside cannot be relit,
Nothing is there to rekindle,
No faith, no joy, not even fury can awaken me.

As I do not believe in faeries,
I do not believe in faeries,
I do not believe in faeries,
As there are none left.
We’re gone.
This is a piece I'm doing as a collab with *grimagix. He told me to write of a lost faerie who doesn't believe in herself anymore.

This is what I came up with. I hope its ok.
